Lamar Dodd School of Art – Main Building

The well-being hub at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, called “The MUSE,” is equipped with a comfortable sofa and chairs, a well-stocked tea cart, microwave, community tables, and several yoga mats, providing a calm and cozy space for students to pause for lunch or stretch after long hours spent in the studio. Faculty and staff at the school invite campus partners to attend the yoga sessions, ambient sound meditations, and herbal lectures that help create guided opportunities for relaxation and community building that are held within the space. More information about events can be found at: art.uga.edu

Even if you aren’t enrolled in arts courses, everyone on campus is welcome to make themselves a warm drink and enjoy the space. Feel free to chat with friends, close your eyes, or pull out a yoga mat and stretch; all we ask is that guests are mindful of each other and try to keep the space enjoyable for all.

The room is primarily first-come, first-serve; but can be booked for small wellness events by emailing cave@uga.edu.
